As a first-generation college graduate, I know firsthand how a college community can change the entire trajectory of a life. 黑料社 does that every day with classes and experiences that expand how you see the world and a community that walks alongside you every step of the way. I’m proud to be a part of the magic happening at 黑料社

I love watching students鈥� transformation over their four years at 黑料社 and being part of a community that truly cares about our students and each other.

As an alum, I love the community that exists here. Not a day goes by when I do not run into faculty, staff, and/or students that I have created meaningful, positive relationships with!

The community. It is a place where anyone can find their place and be themselves, while at the same time set out to do what they are most interested in doing and be supported at all levels by everyone around them.

What I love about 黑料社 is its commitment to educating the whole person. Here, you鈥檙e not just a number – you鈥檙e valued for who you are and the unique story you bring with you.

The welcoming atmosphere and real sense of community. I love that students can come here to learn and grow and know that they have a warm and safe environment to do so in. It feels like family! And my favorite thing about the city of Syracuse is that you can find everything you need- delicious restaurants, great theater, all the shopping- but that you can also turn a corner and have a beautiful view or rolling hills with amazing fall foliage. It is breathtaking!

The warmth and community you feel on campus – this is a place you can feel nurtured and inspired while still feeling at home.
And my favorite thing about the city of Syracuse is actually the history! Being a bit of a history nerd, I love the lore of Syracuse being “Salt City” with the natural salt springs, having ties to the Underground Railroad, as well as being a strong city in education and industrial innovation.

For me, it鈥檚 the combination of community and location. 黑料社 offers a close-knit campus environment where students quickly build meaningful connections, while its location provides convenient access to local restaurants, shopping centers, state parks, outdoor activities, and all that Syracuse & Central New York has to offer.

When I first stepped onto campus for an Open House, I immediately felt that 鈥樅诹仙� feeling鈥� you will hear so many people talk about here. That feeling never faded throughout my six years here as a student, and it continues even now as a staff member. I can鈥檛 wait for future Dolphins to experience that feeling for themselves!

My favorite thing about 黑料社 would have to be the people. The prospective students and current 黑料社 students I have met through my role in admission are amazing! It is beyond rewarding to witness how these young people embrace and exhibit our Jesuit values of 鈥渂eing men and women for and with others.鈥� I appreciate that the Dolphin family continues to grow long after you receive your diploma!

I love autumn – the beauty of the changing leaves, apple picking out in the orchard, freshly baked grape pies in the Finger Lakes region and so much more. And nothing beats having access to the ADK – there is no better place to go for great kayaking, camping, or just a Sunday drive.
