Rebecca Pelky is a citizen of the Brothertown Indian Nation and a native of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She was a zookeeper and wildlife dietician for thirteen years before going back to school to study poetry. Besides her two collections of poetry, her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Harbor Review, The Laurel Review, Cutbank, and Yellow Medicine Review, among others.
